Japanese Students at our Farm

Japanese Students at our Farm

A Special Visit

Japanese students who study agriculture and the environment are on a brief, three-months course with Massey University. They visited our Live2Give Organic Farm last week. In the photo they are investigating the technology used for no-till direct planting into mulch. In the background you can see a cover-crop of oats and faba beans. What was interesting for us is that none of these students come from a farming background. We need young people like this who take an active part in the industry.

Spring Onion "Bee"

Last Monday we teamed up to prepare 300 bundles of our freshly harvested spring onions which were Auckland bound. Many hands make light work and it was fun working together.

Delicious Kale

Great time of the year to grab delicious and tender live2give kale. Freshly harvested from our farm. Enjoy.
